AITA for refusing to let my sister take in her troubled son after he caused damage to my home?

I (31F) have a younger sister, Tasha (28F), who has a son, Jason (16M). Jason has always been a handful, but things took a darker turn recently. About a month ago, he came to visit me and my family for the weekend. I’ve always been a bit hesitant about letting him stay because he has a history of anger issues and destructive behaviour, but I thought it would be fine.

Well, I was wrong. He ended up destroying my new flat-screen TV, broke a chair, and even punched a hole in the wall during an argument with my husband. This isn’t the first time he’s gotten violent; I’ve seen his behaviour firsthand before, and I’ve always been clear with Tasha that he’s out of control and needs professional help.

When I told Tasha I wouldn’t be comfortable having him stay with us again, she blew up at me, saying I was abandoning her and that I was “too judgmental.” She now wants me to take him in while she figures out his schooling situation, but I just don’t feel safe with him in my home anymore.

My parents are pressuring me to help her out, but I don’t feel I can handle it. AITA for refusing to let him stay with me again, or should I have just sucked it up for her?
