AITA for suing my brother over our parents’ inheritance after he stole the family home from me?

I (34F) am in the middle of a total nightmare with my brother (36M). Our parents passed away a year ago, and according to their will, the family home was supposed to be divided equally between me and my brother. I was set to inherit the house, while he was to receive the financial assets. Everything was fine until I found out my brother had sold the house without telling me.

I confronted him, and he said it was “for the best” since neither of us had the time or money to upkeep it. He didn’t even offer me a dime from the sale. I was furious. I tried to resolve it privately, but he refused to budge, saying that I was being “greedy” and that I should be “grateful” for my share of the inheritance.

I decided to take legal action, and now he’s accusing me of trying to destroy the family over money. Our parents’ friends and other relatives are saying I’m being petty, but I feel completely betrayed and robbed.
